Have you ever experienced that, when you need to get more energy, change your mood or switch to a better day, you instinctively move your body?
If you answered Yes, you have a good survival instinct. Up to 60% of the human adult body is water. Stagnant water rots. Keep that water moving and your overall energy will raise.
Knowing that the energy controls every single function of your body as a pre-cursor message, and to over simplify: moving your energies helps greatly to maintain a healthy mind, body and soul.
Now if you are part of the people who never thought about it, think about the native populations throughout the world: dancing and chanting is usually the center of their traditions.
There are other factors (tribe support would be another one) but my guess is that releasing things such as emotions, tensions or fears through movement is highly beneficial for them to stay mentally and physically sane, and inspiring to feel invincible.
According to a Stanford study, "the only physical activity to offer protection against dementia was frequent dancing" (76% of the cases).
I practise Qi Gong and one of the funniest exercice to do is shaking and bouncing: it releases blockages of all kinds.
Have you ever observed how our pets are dealing with this: they stretch and shake their energies naturally. To refer to my first hack: observing animals and nature is truly something we need to get back to.
“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy,
frequency and vibration.” – Nikola Tesla
In the morning, I listen to some Zouk music to actually move and shake my entire body (I am not a gym class aficionada). It's a fun way to start the day (and we know Fun is crucial to do anything). It brings me some Caribbean pictures in mind, the music Is highly energetic so I get to focus on it (to a certain extent, this is a sort of meditation) and I get to release any things that don’t serve me anymore so I can start the day on the right foot.
There is even science behind sounds and vibrations:
Some people proved that listening to 432Hz music resonates inside our body, releases emotional blockages and expands our consciousness. It creates Unity instead of separation.
An excellent classical music piece in 432HZ is the Pachelbel – Canon in D Major. Play this in your house, in public transportation or anywhere after a long day and it will truly feel like you are reconnecting with yourself and it brings some sort of inner-peace.
My life hack to you: put this on automatic pilot. Build a playlist so whenever you need to lift your morale or dive deep in your feelings, you have the right music ready to go.
My last words for today: if you have been sitting on your chair for a while, it’s time to MOVE. Or sing if you can’t move or visualize yourself moving and dancing on your favorite music.
Be Well, Be Happy, Be You.
